Gaining an hour when we “fall back” comes with the far less enjoyable “spring forward.” Missing out on an hour of sleep can really be stressful. But with the cold, cold weather mercifully behind us, the effects of less rest is easier to take when Calgary is rewarded with a spectacularly bright and warm early spring day.
Across from beautiful Bowness Park, is the smaller, quieter Baker Park. Northwest Calgary residents were out in full force, soaking up the sun, enjoying the turquoise glow of the melting river ice and snow and spending time with family, friends and pets.
Check out the video link above and think about visiting either of these great northwest Calgary parks, or any of the other parks and pathways that connect the city and add a welcome and relaxing element to area districts.
